Interior advice...

I just returned from pate and found a console to go with my newly purchased 1971 buckets. My question is... I have a factory two tone blue and while short bed. I am wanting to go with black covers with houndstooth. I also want to go with black carpet. Do you guys think I should go with blue and white or do you think the black interior will look okay. I have future plans to do a frame off and want the truck black and white is the main reason for wanting to go with black interior now! Y'all won't hurt my feelings, I am just wanting a little advice.

Re: Interior advice...

My bb truck is black and white, deluxe two tone, top and middle white, rest black. I changed from solid black vinyl on the buckets to the black and white that you are wanting and like it, it helps to break all of the black in the interior up a little. The rest of the truck is original except for wheels and tires and stainless bolts that hold everything together. I liked it in the beginning but now wish I had left if completely stock instead of the change. It will look ok with your current paint, but I would go with solid black if I were you simply for the asthetics of the current paint and for the later repaint- the white is tough to keep clean even if rarely driven or sat in...

Re: Interior advice...

I think solid black goes with anything and is the cheapest way to go and the easiest to maintain and repair.
