51 GMC guages
I got this Jimmy a few days ago for free and want to get it running, I know that these GMCs are positive ground. If I make it neg ground is it going to mess up the guages? It is on a 1 ton frame but when I ran the vin it can back to a half ton long box. I have no idea when it was ran last. It has a Chevy dipper 235 in it which I'm sure is original to the 1 ton. I've had my Chevys for years but unfortunately I don't know much about GMCs.

Re: 51 GMC guages
I think stovebolt.com has a tech article on converting neg to positive. I know from experience on my dads 57 gmc bus it will cook a tape deck real fast if you wire it backwards.
