shout out for help
need some help ? i went to look at a 71 or 72 4x4 frame and i have two questions. first did chevy make a 3/4 ton front axle disc brake and open knucles with no lock outs it has a cast piece and not like 73 with the little metal end the whole thing is cast. number two do you think that a complete frame minus motor in need of sandblasting is worth 750.00 it is a 4 speed thanks for all your help mark

Yes, the larger hubs had the "bolt-on" style lock-out hubs (or drive flanges). The '73-'87 could have either style.
The value is very regional, I couldn't tell you.

Re: shout out for help
Is the frame a rolling chassis?
If it is, and there was a guarantee that it isn't bent. Then the asking price, to me anyways sounds good. Axles alone would take up most of that price.
