Difference between 350 and 400 trans bolt location
Im doing a swap to a auto trans in my 64. I am going to use my 350 trans as a template to set my crossmember. Will the distance to the trans mount be the same when i get my 400?

Re: Difference between 350 and 400 trans bolt location
No. The TH400 is a little longer than the 6" tail TH350. Nothing that a new set of holes in the frame won't fix, though. BTW, the input yoke will be different and the driveshaft will have to be shortened when going to the 400.
