Tucked bumpers
I've seen a few pics of trucks with bumpers that are "tucked" back towards the body a couple inches, so that it does not protrude as much. I'm currently working on the rear, anyone have and tips?

Are you talking about the heavy barden type bumper like on 63deluxfleet's truck in the picture? I've seen a few at some dismantler yards.

the second one! I wanted to flip mine and tuck it very similar. My step has a larger curve to the bumper. I was hoping someone might have pics of how they shortened the brackets for the bumper.

You could also switch to a 67-72 rear bumper (it's flatter). The stepside version has more of a curve on the ends. (not my truck)
