Re: My 98 DD ongoing project
Good looking truck man, I'm partial to the white myself. So are you reusing the factory FI on your 383?

Re: My 98 DD ongoing project
Yeah for right now im using my factory FI but later i want to get the ram jet intake. The engine has a LOT more in it but is held down by the gas flow.
But i got the engine for 1500 bucks from an engine guy that built my camaro's engine so i couldn't turn it down and i helped him get an engine off his hands that someone didn't have the money to pay for Yeah i love living so close to summit i mean its like 30 mins its awesome and they have most every part in stock i only had to get my cold air intake shipped to me Finally someone actually posted on my build thread i was wondering if it would ever happen ohh yeah and im static dropping my truck for now due to money the whole reason i ever lowered my truck was because i got the lowering spindles for FREE and the shackles were maybe 40 I am so ready to start lowering my truck!! |

Yeah once you lower one it's hard to go back. You always want to go lower.

Re: My 98 DD ongoing project
So did your truck have foglights from the factory, or did you add 'em?
Also, uhhm....soo.....what's up with the mudflaps?

Re: My 98 DD ongoing project
I flipped the picture so it would look better on my phone and
I noticed that after thought it was cool. The mudflaps were on when I got it from my dad. I kinda like them. |

Re: My 98 DD ongoing project
Yeah your truck looks good. Only things I'd do is lose the mud flaps, window vents, factory trim, and those "old man" looking chrome bed rail bar things. Those look really strange with having a tonneau cover.
EDIT: I didn't notice until just now....are those antennas in the back?? Last edited by Ghastlyone; 07-09-2010 at 04:02 AM. |

Re: My 98 DD ongoing project
yeah i have antenas cause i have a cb in my truck.
I have a camaro we use to tow and we would go with a big group to car shows so we would talk to each other through that. Back when i was younger. I think im gonna mini tub the front cause my tires rub so i wanna lower it more so i will be able too. |

Re: My 98 DD ongoing project
Mwhahahaha. Nobody can resist. I too would remove the window things and bedrails but Im one of those weird people that likes the body trim and would leave it on. Truck looks good, helps getting the ladys eh?
