Frame Swap Question.
I recently purchased a 1972 2wd C-20 frame supposedly from Az. Frame and trailing arms are in great shape. What do I have to do to mount my 66 C-10 body on it? Mounts Diff? Will 1/2 ton front suspension bolt upto it?? Thanks in advance.

Re: Frame Swap Question.
The rear cab mounts are different. I'm not sure if the radiator support mounts are different or not. The front frame horns are different, and the '67-'72 frames don't have the forward crossmember that the radiator sits in like on the '63-'66 frames. Yes the C10 suspension along with the rear differential will all bolt up to the C20 frame.
Member ScotI is using a '68(?) frame under his '64 body. You might check out his build thread 'Project Recycle' in the Projects and Builds section on the '60-'66 forum.

Re: Frame Swap Question.
Thanks for the info. I think I may try to use it on my 66, this will be a ways off.
