suburbans outa reach!
I've been on the hunt for a 72 sub and have had found a few that would fit the bill. 72's, a/c front and rear, big blocks, priced from 1500-2500 and of course..... there on the opposite side of the planet!! It looks like the best place to take a big trailer and gobble up some of these critters is the Oregon/Washington area. Those things are every where!! I'll keep looking around the area here, but if I can't find anything soon, Im gonna have to make a road trip to the west coast. Maybe i can bring one back for another board member back here in the land of no big block burbs around for sale.

Re: suburbans outa reach!
Seems like there are alot of trucks that fit that description in Texas. Try going through the dozens of TX cities on Craigslist.

Check AZ as well.
A friend of mine just picked up a clean 72 4x4 burb in the Yuma area.

Re: suburbans outa reach!
A 72 burb with big block with front and rear air in the 1500 dollar range would be a pretty good find anywhere. I dont think Ive seen any around here like that unless they were pretty rusty.

Re: suburbans outa reach!
I just found one today! Didn't get to look too much, either 71 or 72, 4X4, 1/2 ton, front tow hooks, and straight body. Had 400 emblems on fenders... I know: NO BB 4X4's were ever made. Looks real original, though. I will go back and let you know if it is for sale.. unless it is cheap, then I will show you MY new Sub!

Re: suburbans outa reach!
LOL. That works. They are definately out there. but by the time you drive to and from across the country, especially with fuel prices, its not worth the money you might save. Yeah, I have been searching through all the little cities on craigslist, Its very time consuming, and have found a couple for that price. Normal rust on the bottom 1/4's but fairly priced with the big block!! So If I find something and ask a fellow board member to check it out for me, They would probably have a new project. lol. I do the same thing looking for a 69 camaro convertible project. Again!!! always on the west coast! I need to hit the lottery.... I'll open a west coast/east coast suburban trafficing facility. Again, thanks for any leads.

Re: suburbans outa reach!
I've contacted the owner of the blue burb in KC. It would b a decent truck if the motor was there. He tells me it has to go, but he will not send me any more pictures of it. Obviously he don't need it gone too bad. A couple BB trucks I'm checking out but really like the hawaiian blue or orange. Arghhhh!!!!

Re: suburbans outa reach!
I always see your add in the Nashville Craigslist looking for a burb. You can talk to Mr. Clyde in Goodlettsville. I know he has a couple of burbs at his place. Other then that, I think I have one of the only ones in Middle Tennessee.
