Re: Pomona Swap meet
It's very big, and lots and lots and lots of parts - my advice would be to know what you want before you get there, and keep an eye out for it, because if you try to see it all, you'll end up wasting a lot of time. Get there early and leave early.

Re: Pomona Swap meet
I've gone .. bring a big wagon to carry off all the parts you buy. Like said earlier arrive early ... people line up before it opens to get the best deals!

Re: Pomona Swap meet
I LOVE the Pomona swap meet I used to go every six weeks. You need to get there first thing in the morning like 6 am to see everything.I start all the way in the back and then row by row work my way up front and then go over and look at the cars.by that time I'm dead on my feet my wagon is loaded and I'm thing of the next one in six weeks.I should be back in cali for the next one I can't wait.

Re: Pomona Swap meet
Last time I went it was o'dark thirty, and the line to get in was down the street.
But, the line moves fast. I've been going there for years, and they always have all the Vdub stuff close to the entrance. then it always has the next couple a rows of nothing but typical swap meet garbage, so I hot foot it down the main drag a few rows till I start seeing the regular type guys sellin their junk. Some times I will even walk all the way to the back, then work my way back to the main gate. Since most people start at the first rows or so. For you livin in Bako, I'd come down the day before and stay at one of the cheepo hotels near by (In San Dimas). That way you get there early and rested. Also, look for this couple www.kingstrucks.com They hooked me up big time last time I was there! Cool folks to, so maybe shoot them an email to see if they know yet what row they will be in.
