Who makes the deepest notch?

I have been researching C-notches and wondered who makes the largest

CPP claims that theirs is 2 3/4"
Suicide Doors says 2 1/4"
Porterbuilt???

Anyone have the information on any of these or others?

Re: Who makes the deepest notch?

Seems like Ride Tech had the deepest c-notch when I researched options ( PB's version was not released @ that time). If you need more than that 2.75" mark, you might as well step notch it. It will have more strength vs. a super deep c-notch.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Who makes the deepest notch?

Update: Suicide doors notch is not for 63-72 frames (flat) so it won't work. I was wondering about that and it was just confirmed.

How deep do you want it? There's only so much room before the bed floor gets modified.

Re: Who makes the deepest notch?

I am not looking for a foot or anything or I would be going to a step notch. The main reason for my query was to see if anyone knew who made the largest one. I know it cant go past 3" but was just curious who got closest to that.

I think once you get to 3" you have to modify the bed, furthermore I think you have to also add support over the frame at that point.

Maybe I should have asked a different way- who else makes a c-notch besides the above mentioned. I am just trying to spend my money wisely (be cheap about it)

How deep is yours? I was actually hoping to see how yours sat with a bed on it.
