1999 GMC Center Console
I put a set of these seats in my '69 see
( http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=368266 ) and now the plastic top hinge has just disintegrated ! I found a repair kit on Ebay for $160.00 is this what they are going for? Anyone have a cheaper solution? Thanks Mike |

You may hit the salvage yards, and see if you can find them cheaper. Makes me want to really take care of the one in my 03 now though.

I had no idea this was a common problem and it must have been cracked before I got it. The junkyards just strip complete assemblies around here so I would have to buy the whole middle seat for $300.

Ouch yeah that's a little pricey just to fix the console door. Hopefully someone will chime in here with some info for ya.
