Fender question???????

If I put 72 Chevy fenders on my 68 GMC I know they are different, and I want to keep my 68 GMC grille, I realize I would have to keep the GMC rad support and get a 69-72 hood to match it up, is there anything I am missing with this swap????
Thanks

Re: Fender question???????

Actually it would bolt up, but the correct trim cannot be used and the chevy fenders would look like crap.

Re: Fender question???????

As others have said...everything will bolt up but it will look like crap. The whole front profile of the fenders is different. The chevy fenders have a big ole honkin' relief for the grill surround to sit in that the GMC grill won't cover. If the front clip you are looking at is in that nice of shape...you may want to just convert to the chevy grille and rad.support. Otherwise keep looking for a GMC front clip.

Re: Fender question???????

If it is that nice trade it for a 67/68 nice Chevy front clip or GMC clip that will work. $50 for a front clip will always make good trading material.
