Re: Tracking arm
Use your old one. I dropped the rear 4 inches, and used the old one.

Re: Tracking arm
My guess is you will be alright, That said, I would put a Super Track Bar Kit on the shopping list.
**Taken from ECE Website:: With a rear drop of more than 5”, the stock panhard bar actually runs at an uphill angle to attach to the rear axle. This causes the rear end to shift to the driver’s side as the rear suspension travels downward, creating an ill-handling driving situation. Last edited by Kayotic; 06-22-2010 at 09:14 AM. |

Re: Tracking arm
With 2" you should be alright to use the stock one. Between 2" to 4" I would use the adjustible one. 4" and more I would use the super bar kit. This is just a rule of thumb, and each situation will be a little different. Bottom line is the rear end needs to be centered between the frame rails for the truck to track correctly and not ware out tires prematurely. The best way to tell is to lower it and measure the rear brake back plates it the same location to the frame rail in the same location from side to side. If the measurement is off, if it were me I would center it. WES
