Sending unit install!! HELP!!!
CAN't get the sender down far enough to let the lock ring catch. First off is there a special tool for tightening the lock ring? Second can I bend the pick up slightly to get it to drop a little bit further? And lastly If I need to can I back out on the flanges screws a little bit and then tighten them back down once I get the lock ring started?

You should be able to bend the sender a little to allow it to set all the way down in the tank. Just be carefull you do not go too much and kink it. What kind of tank are you trying to affix the sending unit into? Is it a Blazer Poly tank? WES

Re: Sending unit install!! HELP!!!
Then you can loosen the screws to aid in the sending unit instalation also. Just mark the way that things are and put them back in the correct orientation. WES

Re: Sending unit install!! HELP!!!
Use some O-ring lube or such on the rubber ring to make it a bit easier.
