Which front clip would you go with?
I am gathering up parts for the build of my 69 K10. I am going to get this to as close to done as I can before I sell it. I doubt I'll have it painted because my goal is to have it at the All truck Nats in Kc in September. But anyhow, I have really been thinking about putting a 67/68 front clip on it. Do you think it would help or hinder the sale of the truck? I'm guessing it will just be a buyer preference. But I was thinking the 67/68 front clip would be cool because you don't see too many 67/68 4x4's. What are your thoughts on it?

I don't think it will make enough of a difference to be worth your time, unless the existing front end is in bad shape.

Re: Which front clip would you go with?
Well, I was just wondering because I'll have to purchase fenders and a radiator support at minimum. So that's why I was curious. I'd like to think that putting the 67/68 front on it would help it sell faster, but I doubt it.

Re: Which front clip would you go with?
Do it if you like the look yourself, but don't do because you expect it to bring a higher selling price. You may be disappointed.

Personally I like the look of the 69-72 front clips on 4x4's. I would keep the one you have.

Re: Which front clip would you go with?
I'm kind of partial to this look myself. If it cost you more money or work and your just going to sell it, I say no way. If you had all the parts laying around and were just going to make a frankenstein truck anyways, then only to save you from buying other aditional parts. it will cut into your potential profit anyways (If there even is any).

Re: Which front clip would you go with?
I am with you, on 4x4s I like the 69-72 front clips. On the two drive I am building I have the 67-68 front clip. On my sons 4x4 were going to put the 72 front clip. Just my opinion

In my experience vehicles sell better when they are closer to stock.

Re: Which front clip would you go with?
Agreed. If you plan to sell it, just leave it stock.

Re: Which front clip would you go with?
You guys are right. I am sticking with the 69-72 front. For now I will use my 71 grill, but if I can find a decent 69 or 70 for cheap, I'll use the correct one for it.

Re: Which front clip would you go with?
Yes, the 69-70 grilles can be bolted into a 71-72. Fenders, radiator support, hood, and cowl are all the same for 69-72 chevy.
