Rear shocks 47-54 trucks

Hey a a quick little observation that I do notice with these trucks now that I've played with a few of them. Since they have very little weight in the rear by design, they ride like crap with gas shocks in the back. Regular oil shocks help these things ride WAY better! I've got gas shocks on the back of mine and never had issues with the ride but I put fairly light shocks on it all the way around.

When I was doing front end alignment and brake work in tire stores I found that quite often heavy duty shocks were too heavy duty for most people for normal street driving.
I can't remember what I used exactly but I think they are standard duty gas shocks for a late 60 early 70 something Mopar car with eyes on both ends. I dug though the shock dimension chart and found ones that had the right ends and right length.
