IN 5 Lug Rear Disc Brakes 71 & up Blackbirds Custom Trucks - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a rear disc brake set up from a chassis I bought from another board member. I bought the rolling chassis for the front brakes and suspension parts and do not need the rear disc brakes. From what I was told/ understand it is a conversion set up sold by Blackbirds Custom Trucks http://www.blackbirdscustomtrucks.co...x7.html#910&12 (drink2mny here on the board). From what I see on the web site this kit cost $400.00 NEW.------ I am asking $320.00 including parts, shipping (to 48 states) & insurance.------ I do accept PayPal at no extra cost. It is the backing plates/ mounting brackets, calipers (no E-brake) and brake pads. It DOES NOT INCLUDE hoses or parking brake items. I removed them from a 1972 Chevy truck rear differential and the bolts I took off are included. I have not seen a picture on Blackbirds web site but I believe this is everything he includes in the kit you would buy. If somebody knows different PLEASE let me know. I have included pictures with them installed but I am only selling the items pictured in the first two pictures. Everything looks new to me but looks like it has been sitting for a while. The calipers do need the little o-rings replaced where the mounting bolt/ pin goes thru the outside of the caliper but that should be easy to find. I will check and see if I can get some replacements. These where on a chassis only so I do not know much about them other than the looks. Ask all questions and interest in the thread as per forum rules. I am asking $320.00 including parts, shipping (to 48 states) & insurance. If you are somewhere else ask for a shipping quote. I pick up new oring bushings for where the pins go into the outer part of the caliper today.

The shipping weight is around 80 pounds so the best way I can ship this is in 2 large flat rate shipping boxes. Because the shipping is so high, I can do $290.00 for the parts, shipping and insurance paid thru PayPal. Sorry but that is the best I can do at this time. If you are interest let me know and I can send an invoice or give you my e-mail.
