Heater and air box question!
MY 84 GMC DOES NOT HAVE A AC IN IT BUT HAS THE BOX STILL! I WANT TO BE ABLE TO KEEP MY HEATER BLOWER MOTOR THERE BUT CAN I GET RID OF THE AIR BOX AND SHAVE IT?

I just looked at mine and would say it seems pretty simple. Unbolt the a/c box in the engine compartment and you should be home free. Just make a panel to keep exhaust gases from flowing into the heater box and seal it . I don't see any problems doing that.

i was wondering the same damn thing! previous owner cut all the stuff going to it. I would say unbolt it, make a stencil and cut out some sheetmetal, paint it and bolt the sheet in place. I'll prolly try this in the next couple days. I'll let you know if i do it. Lmk if you do it tho too haha
