Glove Box ?
I ORDERED A NEW GLOVE BOX LINING ALONG WITH A A/C DEFROSTER HOSE KIT. WELL THE HOSE KIT IS IN BUT HOW IN THE HE!! DO YOU GET THE LINER IN?. DON'T TELL ME I HAVE TO HAVE THE A/C STUFF OUT BECAUSE THAT GONNA SUCK. I TOOK THE GLOVE BOX DOOR OFF AND TRIED TO BEND THE LINER BUT STILL NO LUCK. AM I MISSING SOMETHING? DO I HAVE TO JUMP AND DOWN ON ONE LEG, WHILE JIGGLING THE STEERING WHEEL AND PUSHING THAT THING IN ALL AT THE SAME TIME?

I seen this question asked before on this board. You may try a search. I THINK I read that it had to be put in from the back. Dont ridicule me if Im wrong.

It will fit in from the front. First be sure that you have the one that is correct for an a/c truck. You will need to remove the glove box door and hinge assembly. You have to fold the liner up a little near the corners on the top. The side of the liner nearest the radio will go in first. Then with a little pushing, bending, shoving and cussing you will get it. The routing of the hoses and cables need to be installed in the correct positions. It is a tight fit but the material is strong enough that it can take some flexing. After installing mine I had to remove it several times to get things right. You get better at it the more you do it. It sounds as if you are on the right track just keep after it. Have fun

....that's the way it is done.
He's tellin' you the truth. You'll fuss and cuss, but you'll get through it. Aligning the glove box door (data book called it a dispatch box), will also get to you, but you'll get through that, too.
