81-87 Cab floor

I bought a 1986 2wd cab that is rust free for my 86 K10. I bought a bolt in center hump to put in it, but it doesn't look as if just putting in the hump will get the job done. Looks to me like even if I were to cut the floor out in the center the hump is still going to be too high to match up to the floor in the rear. Anybody know anything about this? Will I have to try and find another cab at a salvage yard and cut out the entire center to graft onto this 2wd cab? Here are a few pictures...not real good ones, but you get the idea. ...Joe

Re: 81-87 Cab floor

when you bought the 2wd cab, the hump is lower. a 4wd cab has a higher hump. You can use the stuff you got, you just have to add filler metal to line everything up.
