Bucket seat questions

I have a 72 that originally had buckets but were gone when I bought it. I bought a set from a 69 GMC. The pass. side (stationary) brackets fit great but the tracks on the drivers side are too short (I put the 2 front bolts in). My questions are: are the tracks different from year to year? And is the seat frame (the metal part) different from a 69 to a 72? I know the foam & vinyl is different. Any information is appreciated. Thanks, Kirk

Re: Bucket seat questions

I think that the foam is the same from 1969-72, the vinyl patterns are different, 69-70 & 71-72
Also I think that the frame mounts are the same from 1969-72.

Re: Bucket seat questions

Anyone else had tracks that were shorter? I guess the steel frame & foam are the same on 69-72? Thanks for any help!
