where can i get bolts for top?

i know i've asked before...a LONG time ago but the answer was to go to a home store. i'm wondering if any vendors sell a bolt kit for tops so that i can buy some, i need to get the top off the garage floor and reclaim half of my garage back.

I don't believe any vendors have bolt kits. You'll need to get them either used or at the hardware store.

There are a few different types - the long bolts that go through the visors, those that bolt into the rails and those that bolt into the brackets near the tail gate. There are also 4 screws that attach the two brackets toward the center of the windshield frame. You'll also need the screws that attach the drip rail deflectors to the top and the windshield frame.

I'd try meeting up with one of the board members in your local area and measuring the bolts they have.

Re: where can i get bolts for top?

the bolts that hold the top to the bed sides are the same sheet metal bolts that hold the front clip together. they have a 1/2" hex head and the washers are attached, and they have a pointy tip. the bolts at the visors are much harder to match. i hope you saved those.

Re: where can i get bolts for top?

When I bought my blazer the top wasn't on it, the soft top was so I don't have any of the hardware to put it on.

I think that member BobbyK has a link on his build that listed bolt sizes for sides and visor bolts, maybe he will see and post

Re: where can i get bolts for top?

I hung my top from my rafters in my garage. It's high enough to walk under without ducking and I can still park under it. Ever thought about leaving it off?
