Re: heavy half gmc
Someone has removed the other side. They said Heavy Half/Big 10 on each side. At least that's the decals I'm guessing you mean.

Re: heavy half gmc
It probably got hit on the side with no sticker, and the shop that did the repairs was unable to (or chose not to...) purchase a set of decals.

Re: heavy half gmc
They forgot to document removing that decal then. Granted, we used to get new cars in all the time when I worked at Hertz, and they'd be missing a fender emblem. Those were just glitches going down the assembly line and poor quality control (was usually mazdas).
Chances are though, it was removed due to that bedside being painted for one reason or another. Or the sticker could have gotten to looking bad and it was just removed. |

Re: heavy half gmc
I've never seen a Big 10 or Heavy Half with 6 lug.

Re: heavy half gmc
He was wrong. There were no 6 lug C series trucks from 73-87. The K series had them, but not the C's.

Re: heavy half gmc
I think he said the guy that had it said it had 6 lug discs. Ok too bad...
I do like hearing about the odd factory special edition trucks...that 454 373 sport truck is cool!

Re: heavy half gmc
FYI- All 73-87 had disc brakes. Power disc was optional, but they all had disc front brakes.
