Need brake help

I have a 51 chevy truck with MII front suspension with 11" disc brakes, firewall mounted booster a prop. valve on the frame and rear drum brakes with multiple front brake problems

1 The front outside brake pads wore down to metal after about 500 miles

2 The inside pads were about 50% except the top edge was above the rotor

3 There are wear marks on the top caliper bolts wher the rotors have rubbed

4 I have a squealing sound from the front every time I turn a corner

Re: Need brake help

sounds like a loose or incorrect wheel bearing or a bad/ wrong caliper,

only on one side correct?

Re: Need brake help

Both sides are exactly the same.
How tight should the wheel bearings be ?
