crossmember problem

i have an 82 swb half ton two wheel drive. used to be a standard 4 speed. I switched it to a turbo 350 and after the trans mount is too far forward to bolt up to the crossmember. Any easy way to make it work?

Re: crossmember problem

Unbolt the crossmember and slide it to where the trans mount will mount up to it, then bolt it back up to the frame. Chances are the holes will already be there. If not, grab a drill.
