73 front end suspension on a 72

I'm going to rebuild the front suspension on my 72 C-10. I have a complete 73 front end. Any benefit from using the 73 A arms, spindles ect?

All the parts are cheaper.
Some like the rubber bushed a-arm bushings that don't need to be greased.

57larry,

just stop by your local auto parts store and have them price out stuff for your 72 and then for a 73-87 setup.....I went to Autozone and there was a $200+ difference.....

I'm going with a 73+ setup when I'm ready!!

Good luck and have fun

If you can get the whole crossmember, do the swap that way. It's easier than it sounds, and save for having to drill two holes, and enlarging two more... it bolts right in. I put one in my '70 from an '87 and couldn't be happier.

Agree 100%... I did the entire crossmember swap in my shortbox and it was very straightforward.
