Summit Racing Torq Thrust Knock off's??

Anybody running these?? Love the look of Torque Thrusts but would need these since they are 6 luggers.....will the center bore work for me (3.429")??? 17x8, 4.5" BS (they also have the 5.25" BS)....$170 ea about $700 shipped to my door!!!

Any reason I should avoid 1 piece wheels??

Geoff those look good, in fact they look balanced with the 6 spoke design. I would like to see them after you get them as they might be something I am interested in for my 2000.

Re: Summit Racing Torq Thrust Knock off's??

I have the five lug legends, I think they're nice wheels. I don't think you will have any problems with the 8" I have the 9" and mine would rub if my truck was lowered.

I've posted in the past, asking if anybody tried them and got no response. Looks like a great deal for a sweet looking rim!

Re: Summit Racing Torq Thrust Knock off's??

Hey guys new to site but read the thread. In fact these Legend 6 wheels will be sent to me this Friday and I will be adding a new set of tires to them also. I just bought a 70 C10 LB off "70c10"'s dad and it is in really good shape. It had the stock 6 lug ralleys on them but needed some dressing up. They have these Legend 6 wheels on sale at Summit Racing for $134.95 each now. These were shipped to my door for $552.75. I will post a picture when the truck has them on and they are ready to go.

The truck has a 3 / 4 drop already installed.

Re: Summit Racing Torq Thrust Knock off's??

@ Big Mike So they fit no problem? Do you think you could get away with 8" on the front and 9" on the back if it was lowered?

I have 8" on 9" on the back, When I lower it I'll need about 1/2 spacer on the rear. They are nice wheels they look even better in person.

Re: Summit Racing Torq Thrust Knock off's??

I am looking at these rims very hard. I really like them.

Has anyone put these 6 lug rims on their truck. I have a 68 with 73 spindles and breaks a six lug rotors. So the front is 3" wider than the rear. I already have 1.5 spacers on the rear.

My question is the center bore on the front. What did you have to do to get them to fit. Where did you take the rim to get it done and how much of a hassle was it. The centerline rims I have are 16 and I need new tires badly. I don't want to put out the money for tires I can't use on new rims. I also have a bent rim. So I need to take care of this. Please let me know and if you have a pic of your truck with them on that would be great.

These are super sweet. Sadly, they're discontinued. They're 17's. All you can get is 20's now. A friend had them on his Tahoe.
