Re: Hey guys

GMCs are a little more unique. I see many of the Chevy PUs but rarely see a GMC.

Re: Hey guys

If it was mine I'd keep it. Its a really nice truck in the pic. The gmc and chevy are the same thing in my mind. If u want a chevy then by all means get one but there really the same thing.

Re: Hey guys

I'm partial to the 67-68 chevy front ends myself, but it's an easy conversion if you really want to, but your truck looks pretty good already, I'd just keep it and put that money into other options

Re: Hey guys

You don't want it at all!! In fact you should give it to me and keep looking for a Chevy.

Just kidding, man! I say(for real) keep it. GMC's are unique and have their own character. I'd roll a GMC just because it is.

Re: Hey guys

Another option pending on what your goal is and what you decide with the truck is to upgrade to a Chevrolet front clip and tailgate with Chevrolet badging if the urge is ever there. You can still keep the truck and enjoy it. Good luck on your decision though. I have one of each and I am a originality man.

Re: Hey guys

You have a pretty nice looking truck...i noticed that true GMC shortbeds are harder to find than Chevys....mainly cuz GMC where the workhorse trucks and Chevys were considered the luxury ones.

Re: Hey guys

GMC or Chevy, both are great looking trucks. I think if I was going to do another 67-72 truck, I would let the "rust factor" decide for me. If that truck, (which looks really good from the pic) has very little rust I would make it a keeper.... Rust is the devil in these trucks, it adds so much more time and money to getting the truck nice.

Does it have leafs or trailing arms? What motor/trans combo is in it?
