Body Emblems and trim removal?
I have yet another question for the pros. I want to remove my "Sierra Classic 25" and "Camper Special" emblems from my 78 GMC. I want to clean them up, repaint them and reinstall them...so, needless to say I want to remove them without destrying them. What is the secret to accomplishing this? I'd also like to polish the polished aluminum trim on my truck so it looks polished, again. Who can recommend a good product to me for this? Also how do I remove the trim without destroying it? Thanks for the help ahead of time. Buck

Re: Body Emblems and trim removal?
If it's like my Silverado emblem, you will have to access it from the inside of the fender. There will be 2 holes and you'll need a 3/8 nut driver or something similar to take them off.

If theyre still bolted on, you have to remove the fenders to get the sierra emblems off, and the camper specials you can get to from behind inside the cab. Just speed nuts on all of it.
