dont think original atl mount // dont have the oil fill tube either// non factory wheels and tires
lots of changes for 1000mile truck//those tires look to have alot more than thousand miles too

Nice truck...sidenote- that radiator looks to be a 2row?? Seems small for an original BBC engine...is this normal?

Re: 1033 mile 72 c10 custom
You sure it isn't 1033 miles since it's restoration? That Oak bed looks good, but I am pretty sure no factory truck came like that, even if it was a Super. Not knit-picking the truck, as it is a nice truck, but when a classic vehicle may be misleading, I find it to be right to speak up. Trevor

Good point Trevor....Also you would think the chalk marks on the firewall should be there.

Re: 1033 mile 72 c10 custom
You may be correct on the 1033 since resto. Didn't they have decals on the valve cover also?
I am going to see it tomorrow, the truck is part of a 100 classic car collection going to no reserve auction in Cumberland Maine on sat. The collector passed on i guess. http://keenanauction.com/auction.cgi?&i=1925 I'm just riding down to see this truck. Its pretty close to what i want (only a shortbed) and i want some pics when i do my resto someday. Last edited by no moa; 08-05-2010 at 01:18 PM. |

Re: 1033 mile 72 c10 custom
loads of interesting stuff in that auction tobad it wasnt closer// i like the hitnmiss engines and the basic whizzer they have plus alot of real early iron from the 30's and 40's.would b an interesting day and a chance to meet a bunch of interesting people there, if you talk to people at an auction like that you can get alot of info and leads on stuff available
