Cruise control

I am trying to fix the cruise control on my ride (see signature).

Can anybody point me where I can find the cruise control module and what it looks like? any pictures?

thanks.

Re: Cruise control

Nothing in sig, but typically it is on the passenger side inner fender. You will know it when you see it(cables, vacuum lines).

Re: Cruise control

Welcome to the site.
Send me a private message with your email address. I'll send you a copy of wiring diagrams.

Usually the switch fails. You can find replacement switches on the internet. I gave up fixing mine. It was a really pain. I installed a unit from www.rostra.com. I like the cruise control. It works great. Now they even have an electrical version. You don't have to deal with vaccuum hoses!

Don't worry about your English. We see plenty of bad English on this board!! Haaahaaaa...

The cruise module is near the brake pedal. It's a red or black box. It's a really simple circuit box. Replacement boxes are not available through dealers anymore. The brake pedal has a cut off switch. Follow the wires to the box.

Re: Cruise control

I got mine from rockauto.com. It works nicely and they showed me great customer service.
