Lowering springs and tire geometry

At first I wasn't going to lower my truck, now I am thinking I would like to lower it two inches in the front and four inches in the back. I have leaf springs so I would use lowering shackles for the rear. My question is if I use just lowering springs in the front does that interfere with the tire geometry if all the other components are left stock? Or are the drop spindles really the way to lower the truck to maintain proper tire alignment.

Re: Lowering springs and tire geometry

2 inches is not enough to be concerned with ... just be sure to have an alignment done after the new springs are installed.

Re: Lowering springs and tire geometry

most alignment shops can get it right by just shimming out the upper control arms
