Windshield Wiper Arm Removal '87 Suburban
This has probably been asked a million times, but how do you get the wiper arm off the post? Do you push on the tab a special way? Do the tools made for this job really help? I need to take it off to replace the washer fluid hose which is rotted out. Thanks.

All you need to do is push the tab outward so it releases from the grer. Then you must pull it up off the gear.

Gets the wiper arm off easier. You can do it without one, but those sure make it a breeze.
