leaf removal question
Howdy all.
I have a regular flip kit rear end on 1/2 ton springs. with shock mount extentions and drop shocks. My springs have the shorter "overload" spring on the bottom of a 5 pack of regular leafs. It really doesnt look like the overload spring contributes until under load. Right? I am thinking I gain about a 1/2 inch additional drop if I remove the overload spring (the thickness of that spring) If you have done it: Is the ride softer /bouncier after removal? Is this a good idea if I occasionally move a refrigerator or engine block? Any thoughts appreciated. |

How big of a fridge? Without c-section's, I'd be careful about removing extra leafs.
