Question Speaker Adapters?????

Does anyone know if there is anyway to install larger (ie:6x9 or 5x7) speakers in the rear cab corners of an '80?

I want to upgrade the stereo and would like to replace the 4x10s that are in the factory adapters.

THANKS!!!!

yes there are brackets to mount 6x9s in there.. they are rare. would be almost easier to make your own.

I know at one time they sold those adaptors for our truck, but that was like 15 years ago. I have tried and tried to find them, to no avail. About the only options is fabricate your own bracket or have an audio place build custom enclosures. I'm going to have the enclosures but. Expect to pay $45-70 depending on where you go.
