I checked mine pretty close when the pump went out of my 454. I had a new small block pump I wanted to use. It looked like the pump arm was longer on the BB pump. They are really hard to measure with all of the bends in the arm... I went ahead and bought a new BB pump. They are too hard to change to take a chance on not working after installing it.
