Master cylinder / proportioning valve question
Should the 78 4x4 in my signature have a proportioning valve hanging off the master cylinder (like my 72 Blazer has)? I just got the truck a couple months ago and currently the brake lines screw directly into the master cylinder. I don't have a pic of my exact master cylinder but here one just like it...13" rear brakes and heavier GVW rating.

Re: Master cylinder / proportioning valve question
Should be mounted to the first frame crossmember behind the Radiator Support. Jay

Re: Master cylinder / proportioning valve question
Oh that's right! I've been submersed in the 67-72 world for so long I forgot, thanks.
