1/4 mile guestimate
Taking my truck to the track for the first time on Saturday weather permitting . The motor is a 350 standard bore, flat tops, air gap intake and vortec heads with a fair amount of porting done to them. The cam is a Comp , duration 228 int ,234 ext, lift int 480 ext 499 with 4/7 swap and 1.5 ,1.6 rocker combo,Turbo 400 tranny with 3500 stall converter . The killer is a 3.07 single track rear end and 29.5 inch rear tires and I have never been down the track before . lets see who will come the closet to the time I run !!!!!!!!

Re: 1/4 mile guestimate
I've ran a similar combo with 3.07 open diff with 29" tall tires. My best was 15.2. So my guess is around 15 seconds.

Re: 1/4 mile guestimate
My old stock 305 did 16's with 3.08 gears. I sure hope your 350 can do better than 15's.

Re: 1/4 mile guestimate
15.3@85mph. Thats only if it doesnt spin like crazy which its going to. I would try to launch around 2200rpm and then roll into the throttle. your 60' time is going to suck but thats going to happen either way.

Re: 1/4 mile guestimate
16.5 if you are on stock tires with that stall
15.5 or better if the track prep is good and you cut a 2.0 60' or better Depends on the track, weather and altitude....

Re: 1/4 mile guestimate
im still sticking with my guess. Your 60' is going to suck whether it hooks or not. If you think it will hook bring it all the way up on the converter and give it hell
