Went over to the salvage yard today

And they were in the process of crushing a '67 GMC. These parts are the only things I had time to salvage.... any idea what size V6 it would have had in it?

The second picture is a closeup of the seldom seen door lock delete for the passengers side door. I have only seen one other one and it was on this board a few years ago...

I forgot to add that I did score a free 292 L6 over there. Well, not quite free, I have to buy them a couple a cases of beer...

In a 7500? That seems small.

My '67 Truck Data Book says the gas-powered 70-series trucks came with a 401. It's a Chevy book, but I doubt the truck being a GMC would make that much of a difference.

c40 and up had the 351, 401 and 478, mines got the 351, kinda wish i had those emblems but gotta find a rear end first lol

it sounds odd but my dad had a 66 Chevrolet series 90 i think bucket truck and it came out of the factory with a bb gmc v6 i didnt think u could buy such a thing chevy with a gmc heart

well they are the same company that being said the v6's were mainly a gmc thing, my c60 has gmc stamped on valvecovers i'll dig up some pics or go take some.
