need opinions on 67 interior

I got my door panels back today and need some opinions. I kind of want to keep a stock look but not. Most of the 67's Ive seen have a different shade of body color on the interior. I haven't found decent pics of a factory black interior yet.

Should I paint the interior black, or leave it green and rust /whatever body color I decide on later with black column and wheel?

I've been told my whole life that brown and black don't match so I'm not sure if you would want brown and black. I think a tan interior would look great though! If you're going for a show truck get a chrome steering column, it would accent the interior really nice.

I guess the panel does look a little brown in that pic lol. The seat and panels are all black. I have black carpet and dash pad on the way. I like the look of a chrome column but I'm somewhat cheap. I already have a left over factory tilt to go in it when I lose the 3spd. I want to go for the modified stock look kind of like the Holley truck. I will drive the wheels off it so it wont stay show truck long.

I have black door panels and 67 armrests already.

What I'm trying to decide is to paint the interior black to match the seat or body color?

Most 67's I've seen have a different paint color inside to match the upholstery color. 68 and later are body color.

Do you have any pics of a factory black 67 interior? Is the metal black, silver, body color, other?

I am wondering the same thing. I have a 67 and i think it is the same color as yours. My interior is the same color as yours. I want to do a black interior but my truck is going to have white on the top of the cab and white bumpers and grill. So will i need to do black inside? I am thinking that i am going to do the exterior color then black on all the other stuff.

Re: need opinions on 67 interior

These are 67 panels in black, originally they were green. As you can see I painted the inside to match the exterior paint but with black seats, dooor panels, dash pad, carpet and floor mat. Orinally my truck had light green interior. Crap these pics have the carpet covered door panels , I have the delux vinyl ones from LMC on there now.Went out and took a couple new pictures of the door panels, last two are current. Hope this helps.

The vinyl looks much better. Is your truck solid color on the outside or do you have a different color top?

Cool, I was just wondering how that would look. I think the two tone interior looks better that one color. I like the green on the out side and even on the inside metal. But not a big fan of the green on the seats or vinyl. I like the black.
