Re: My So Cal 83 DD progress

Here she is with the bedliner done, Wheels/tires on and just finishing up the color sand and buff. I am picking up the seat and door panels from the upholstry shop today. I am going to go to the shop and install the carpet kit, seat, door panels and drive her home. I am waiting for my vent window seals to arrive before I finish putting in seals and window slides. I have a new grille and bumper on order. Can't wait to get my truck home. Just so you know I sold a nice Tacoma to drive this.

Very very nice. Good choices. I love the color. Is that the color I see on the civics? Keep us updated.

Looks great. Your title is a little deceiving. "83 DD" Now that is an attention getter.

Truck is home now. I still have a lot of details to finish up mainly interior. Rear bumper and Grille should be here this week.

Re: My So Cal 83 DD progress

My Drop is McGaughy's:

Front
2.5" Drop Spindle
2" Drop Spring
Tires are Falken 245/45/20
Rims are Eagle 225 w/ 4.5" Backspace

Back
Flip Kit w/ C-Notch
2" Drop Shackle
Tires are Falken 295/40/20
Rims are Eagle 225 w/ 5.5" Backspace

I need to tub out my front inner fenders because I have way too much rubbing, but other than that no really major issues with the the suspension and tire combo.
