Let's hear it for Harold!!
My twin brother-Harold is in your forum & I'm not sure how hard he wants to blow his horn? I will GLADLY do it for him!! His is a 1964 chevy with a triple gold color, 454 chromed engine & a marblized dash. I went over today & got a pic of the trophy as well. Almost as Big as his head!
HE!HE! He went to the Capac,MI car show yesterday & they had 1,300+ cars & trucks there. He was entered into a 60-90 2 wheel truck classifications. We haven't found out how many he showed against, BUT HE WON 1ST PLACE!! He got a 3-4' trophy. He was judged on 75 points- 25 points exterior, 25 points engine & 25 points interior. I have the 67 shown & didn't go to the show - other things going on. Here is pics. of his 1st. place trophy winner!! CONGRADULATIONS,BROTHER!! Last edited by howard_m18; 10-03-2010 at 01:13 PM. Thats a really nice truck he's got.
I'm not sure how much he is going to appreciate his email address being posted onto a public forum though....

Re: Let's hear it for Harold!!
I really like the use of black in the box instead of chrome and colour. You gave me some ideas for my 68 GMC 1/2T when I finish helping on my daughters 60 GMC 1/2T and then my wifes 79 Vette then on to the 68 GMC....if the race car doesn't need fixing!

for anyone interested, the color on my truck is called triple gold. it was done by someone in traverse city.ive been told it is a burnt tangerine by house of colors. butlike they say, 6 people can paint that color and you will get 6 diffirant colors. i have found out that it has a silver base, and it is candied, how many coats of candy i have no ideal. thanks for all the nice words about it! thanks again.
