New Engine Look
I installed AC Delco spark plug, new MSD 8mm Heavy Duty spark plug wires, new Edelbrock valve covers, breather, air cleaner, new stock fuel filter and installed new chrome fuel filter to fuel line. I painted the white Edelbrock brand to the same blue as truck was painted with the stock 523 color. The first picture is was it used to look like and the others after.

Re: New Engine Look
The paint code is the 523 GM/Chevy. I think the new engine look gives it the old school muscle car look...everybody does the chrome engine kits so I thought this would give it a different look that matches the truck since it's all blue and black inside and out.

Re: New Engine Look
cool, looks great, chrome is way cheaper than anything on a motor and an easy way to brighten things up, I'm going that route for that very reason, but when i can afford a bb down the road, it will be something like this for sure, nice work

Re: New Engine Look
A bit off of the original subject, but hopefully not too much...do you have pics of your interior? Wondering if you have carried over the black and blue theme there as well. I've been trying to "mentally picture" a black and blue interior, thinking I might want to go that way with mine...
Engine looks awesome!
