Bucket Seat Question
So i got a pair of peterbuilt bucket seats for my 81 gmc. What do i need to do to make em fit? just bolt em in hardcore style? I am totally a newb sorry for stupid questions.

Unless you plan on leaving the airlines disconnected and the seat setting on the floor, I don't think you'll be very happy getting your head slammed into the roof with every bump as those (I'm guessing) are air ride seats and require constant pressure on board air to inflate the bag.

You got any pictures of the seats? And I'm assuming you're not talking about Peterbuilt truck seats, but more of racing seats. And Peterbuilt is the brand, right?

yeah they are not air ride seats. I'll try to do a video of them because my camera doesnt work atm. Yeah they look more like racing seats and got peterbuilt on the headpart.

when we installed the bucket seats in our truck we used the brackets from the donor vehicle. one problem we ran into is when drilling through the floorboard is the gas tank. so i would try to use the brackets from your bench seat maybe some flat iron and fab some. there are brackets online that you can buy but they're pricey you may have to get another set of brackets off of another bench seat for the other side it can be done just gotta put your mind to it but by staying with factory holes you don't have to worry about gas tank on drivers side good luck

i have a set up just like this in mine. we just took a bunch of old scrap metal and just kinda made it work haha all try to get some pics tonight for you k. um did the seats come with any kida brackets you could work with or any thing?

he gave me some brakcets from an 80 something subrubran plus the orignal sliders they came with.
