valve cover idea ? before doing

So I started adding up new valve covers, air cleaner, breather, and pvc, and whoa! So idea popped in my head why not blast the old chrome valve covers and air cleaner from Edelbrock and paint them up? There nothing fancy just ones you get any where like autozone. So would you try it?

Re: valve cover idea ? before doing

the one thing i'd check b4 trying to use the valve covers is if they have baffels for the pvc system

wash them real good then dry then blast then wash real good b4 paint and they should b good to go

Check that out and then see what you can come up with. Be creative!

Re: valve cover idea ? before doing

Just use glass beads for blasting. Not sand. Sand will slightly warp your covers and the paint will look wavy.
