Bone Stock 350 Upper kit
To my knowledge this is a bone stock rebuilt 350. I have no idea the bore over size.
I can tell you it even retains the rochester Qjet 4bbl on it. Will I be able to use this kit for this motor? 350 in it now with a TH350 LWB. http://www.jegs.com/i/GM-Performance...96#moreDetails. I know there is alot of discussion in regards to the vortec heads, but I didnt know if you can match that up with the block I have. I would think with a mild cam xe268h or so that it would run decent. Motor does have an HEI distrib. Thoughts? |

I'd just call JEGS tech line and ask but, how sure are you of the condition of the bottom end?

Re: Bone Stock 350 Upper kit
In my 72 fleet long, I have a 350 crate engine thats stock. I ended up putting a set of air flow research heads on it that are 195 intake ports with a 262 comp cam. I do have a hei dist, and a little 600 holley carb. It also has a victor jr intake(open port) whitch is odd to have on a stock motor with a little cam. You would prefer a airgap style. Any ways the best I've had it in the eigth mile is 8.97. Also i have a tci street fighter tranny and 4.56 posi rearend that relly launches on my et streets. You will be fine with the combo your looking at. If this is a street driven truck and you just want some pep you could put some gear in the rear. Also remember that torque is what you should focus on. good luck
