WTB Tight auto tilt column

Looking for someone local who may have a auto tilt column that I can plug and play in my 87 GMC 2500. Maybe you have one sitting in a donor truck or maybe you have one that's in good shape that you didn't use on a project. My buddy came over today and pulled the old one apart and the bearings are completely shot. He said it's alot cheaper for me to find one that is already tight and complete and just pull the old one out and slap another in. Before I call 10 salvage yards to see what they got I was hoping someone on the board here might have one and can give me a great deal because this truck is DRAINING my wallet! I currently live in Brookfield, CT 06804 and work in Stratford, CT 06615. I'm willing to drive 75-100 miles for the right column for the right deal!

Thanks, Neil

Re: WTB Tight auto tilt column

I have one from an 87 blazer, shipping would probably be less than driving that far.

Well what's your Zip in PA? The column you have is tight right? If you do have to ship what do you want for it shipped?

Thanks, Neil
