What is this sensor?

Someone else's pic but yeah, I am dropping a 1985 suburban 350 into a 1977 c10 and there is no wire for this sensor. It is on the front drivers side next to the spark plug. Thanks

Re: What is this sensor?

Thanks, these harnesses seem to be a little different, I am using the 85 harness for now since it fits the motor but I have had to change some minor things like the wiper motor.

Re: What is this sensor?

dddddddddddddaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg.. That's a picture of my engine, legit thanks man. That is my mechanical temperature gauge, i have some after market gauges in it, but i am going to be changing to the stock electrical gauge and the wire is a green wire that is supposed to be for the temperature sensor. I will have a picture of it soon this week when i swap the sensor. So i take it you have other pictures of my truck saved ahahahha

Re: What is this sensor?

Look for the green wire on your truck, it should be there somewhere. Maybe pulled back and taped off, maybe cut off, just splice onto it and put a spade connector on it.
