Blower scoop Hilborn Scoop

I have a hilborn style scoop for a single 4bl carb I need to sell. It is pretty nice aside from having 413 wedge painted on it, and needs cleaned up and polished again. It will fit quadrajets and holleys, comes with the air cleaner inside and everything. $85 shipped.

Re: Blower scoop Hilborn Scoop

On one of our trucks, I don't think so. I had this on a 70 K20, and my 76. But my 76 had a body lift already but it had tons of room left.

That is the coolest thing, never saw them before! Put me in line

could you give me some demensions, I have an HEI and a raised water outlet so this may not fit. Is there an air filter or just the front screen

I had both on my 350 as well. I can get you measurements, but it will be later. This will sit above the carb atleast a 1/2", not down over it. It cleared my HEI with super coil fine. It does have a small air cleaner and a top inside of it. If you look at the next to last pic you can faintly see the lid. Look at that lower mounting plate. It has a lip that sits on top of the carb. I will measure that. I'm thinking it is atleast 1". The front screen does come off and you can replace that mesh filter. I believe MR.Gasket still makes sheets of it.

Answers most of my questions, how about a measurement from the front of the carb hole to the front of the air cleaner

Re: Blower scoop Hilborn Scoop

Sorry, but I will have to back out. Air cleaner will not clear my water outlet. Would've looked really good on my engine

Re: Blower scoop Hilborn Scoop

Honestly, I just want to sell it. I only have one running gas vehicle and have no use for it unless I build an adapter and hook it to a turbo inlet on a diesel. Make me an offer, it needs to go before I get a dumb idea.
