The tripple buckets were only offered in 67/68 trucks. (I don't know about burbs though) and they bring in top dollar becouse both low production numbers, and also the fact that some people (myself included) want buckets, but don't want to exclude a 3rd person from taking a ride.
I pray I find a set in a junk yard with unknowing manigment. |

I posted this somewhere else too.
I'm seriously considering swapping in something along the lines of this '67 Cutlass front bench. Not exactly bucket, but close. And the best thing is that it still looks right for the time period. And this set sold for $50!

WWWWHOOOOOOOAAAAAA
Flash back for a minute there! Same color and everything as mine before they were reupholstered. As everyone else has said they are a good find and a hard find. They are a rare factory bucket seat and let me tell you there are a lot of people wanting mine. I had my reupholstered and refoamed ( they werent in the best of condition as the vinyl had cracked on them ) but I did an 11 hour road trip in my truck last summer and felt better in my truck seats then 11 hours in any new car seat Ive ever sat in. Just my opinion but I wont be getting rid of my seats anytime soon.

i run those in all my trucks. i have a set getting redone right now and to me they are super comfortable. those on ebay sold cheap and i think the seller is going to be surprised when he tries to ship them , i sent a set to michigan several years ago and shipping was $120.00 back then.

Matt, here is a set I picked up recently in a wrecking yard for cheap ($100). They have the center seat as an armrest, a little jump seat, and a center console all in one. Plus they are very comfortable to sit in. Why wouldn’t you like to have a rare and comfortable set of bucket seats in your truck?

I have a set exactly like those too but in slightly better condition. I paid 300 Canadian to a very good friend and considered it a good deal. It took me 8 years to track down a set around here.

I agree on the shipping it will be much much higher. That makes them even a better deal. hey Steve (1970 CST) I would really like to see a picture or 10 of those seats in the Hounds tooth. I will probably be redoing my set sometime...
Thanks Dave

Earl Junior be warned the cutlass seats may be a little narrow for the cab of your truck. I had a set of seats out of a 68 caprice similar to the ones you show, and they were power and all. Looked nice just needed upholstered. My dad and I wrestled them into my truck they were too narrow and if you moved them to where the steering wheel was in front of you there was too much room between the pass. door and seat. If the seat was centered in the cab you had to lean to the left to put both hands on the wheel. And there was lots of space between the seat and doors. Good luck just giving you a heads up on a possible problem. The seat you got may fit perfect.

Earl Junior.....if that cutlass seat won't fit your truck, you could always give it to me........I'd love to find a seat like that for my 67 cutlass...........speaking of Chevy buckets, didn't D@dge use the same seats in like 74 or so pickups?......my FIL has a 74 in his junkyard that has a very similar seat to the ones pictured.

Guys I've got a set out of a 67 Jimmy just sitting here in my garage that I had reupholstered in black vinyl with black cloth inserts. We had a flood here in July of 01 and they got wet. I used a pressure washer and cleaned them several times out in the sun and they look new again. I never did install them. I'm thinking of bringing them to Pigeon Forge this year and let somebody have them real cheap. (no middle seat). I've also got a front and middle seat for 72 Burb is anyone is interested. They came along after the flood.

These came in my friends 69 but I bought them from him for 200 bucks. Seats are perfect and were the right color for my truck.

The Suburban seat is a bench. But I was out in the garage today looking at the original seats and I've decided to get them redone and put them back in the Suburban. (I've got a set of buckes and middle seat out of a 94 Blazer in there now.) As a matter of fact, I'm thinking about selling the 72 Burb, I'll be driving it when I come to Pigeon Forge (it's my daily driver). Anyway, if anyone's interested you can talk to me there. Hope to meet some of you board members in May.
